The Council-Voting feature of Collaborate enables a formal vote of the Council to take place without the Council attending a normal HOA Council Meeting. It's easy for the HOA Manager to initiate a vote on any issue, and the Council Members are able to vote via Collaborate as soon as the new vote 'goes live'.
Collaborate automatically monitors the vote status of all Council Members and advises of the running status, as well as prompting Council Members that haven't yet voted.
When the voting cycle is complete, Collaborate produces the Minutes of the Resolution decision, and distributes the Minutes to all of the HOA Community Collaborate subscribers - as well as filing an archive copy.
Simply the most amazing way for a Condo or HOA Community to gauge the feelings of all owners about a particular issue. Create a Poll in just a few minutes and all owners can offer their opinion (as a secret vote) immediately. The Poll is managed automatically, and owners receive a daily prompt if they haven't yet voted on the issue. A daily Poll Progress email is sent to Council Members giving them an update as to how voting is progressing.
Because Poll participants are not personally identified i.e. it is only the votes that are counted, owners feel more comfortable with expressing their true feelings on matters, without anxiety of repercussions from other owners. It’s the exact opposite of what often happens with ‘town hall’ type meetings.
So, whether it's finding out whether the community would like the heated pool warmer, the BBQ facilities upgraded, or the Xmas get together a week earlier this year, - a Collaborate Poll of the Community will provide a near-instant answer!
Collaborate will simply be transformational for your business.
- Staff workload is reduced because tasks of communicating with Owners is so easy, facilitating routine Council voting is an absolute breeze, making documentation available to the Council and Owners is quick and simple.
- Being able to provide enhanced services will make your business stand out from the norm.
- Assist you with jurisdictional HOA Act compliance.
- Your revenue will benefit from an immediate boost by placing a margin on the wholesale price we charge you.
We make it easy. Just one plan, and it includes everything – at a super-reasonable price.
‘Collaborate' costs $0.95c per Lot/month. There are no other fees or charges.
Fees are invoiced monthly, billed one month in arrears, with 30 days to pay, e.g. January usage is invoiced February with payment due March.
One single consolidated monthly invoice is issued, with all subscribed buildings listed.
And something for free!
One subscribed building (per management company) will be free forever.
With only a few conditions:
[We do not provide Collaborate to self-managed strata buildings, but rather, we partner with strata management companies, and we bill the management company, who in turn can pass on the cost to their strata clients - with or without a markup margin of their choosing.]

Yes! In fact we will provide a fully-featured 'Demo Building' on request, that can be retained in a company's Collaborate portfolio - this can be used for familiarisation and training purposes, and for testing things that you might not otherwise want to try on a 'live' building.
We will also facilitate each management company subscribing one of their buildings (under 100 Lots) onto Collaborate on a ‘free forever’ basis. Note though, that this ‘free forever’ status is not transferable to any other building in the company’s portfolio at any time in the future. We strongly recommend management companies apply this ‘free forever’ subscription to an actual building rather than using it just for a test/trial, as this is the best way rapid familiarisation of the product is achieved.

Sorry, no. Our invoicing and billing procedures are designed to suit the majority of our clients and be simple and straightforward, and most management companies want to be able to add a ‘mark-up margin’ to the wholesale fee we charge them. We issue one consolidated invoice to the management company each month.

Yes, we will transfer your complete Collaborate data, just put your new manager in contact with us. To help ensure success with this changeover, it is best to engage your proposed new manager in this discussion prior to signing up with them.

Our agreement term with our management company partners is month-to-month, per building. They can unsubscribe a building by giving us 30 days notice.

No, not at all. Collaborate functions independently of whatever software apps the Strata Manager uses for his business.
more
Not necessarily. Only ‘dwelling Lots’ are counted i.e. if carparking spaces are separate Lots on the title, they are not counted towards the subscription fee – only the dwelling Lots.

None!
Whilst there are some 'Help' pages, we know our users rarely need to consult them.
We have taken a lot of effort to ensure every screen is simple and intutive, and we know this is so important particularly for the elder folk that enjoy community living - all residents are able to benefit from 'Collaborate'.

When subscribed, it is the building as a whole that is subscribed to Collaborate, and the building as an entity that is charged the subscription – not owners individually. It is a service provided for all owners, and individually they can participate as they wish.
